Growing up in a family of seven, Hakop spent a tremendous amount of time cooking with his mother, and many nights with great company and delicious food around a dinner table. Family, food, and gatherings became a part of his reputation. To continue down this path and advance on his skills, Hakop attended culinary school in Armenia. After moving his family to the United States over 30 years ago, his love for family, food, and gatherings, by no surprise, led him to combine his passions into the world of culinary arts and celebrations. He found his first job in the States as a cook at Anoush Banquet Halls and Catering. Through hard work, determination, and commitment, Hakop soon found himself climbing up the ladder of success into the ownership of what became L.A. Banquets and Anoush Catering. Over the years, Hakop provided L.A. Banquets and Anoush Catering with exquisite culinary experiences leading them into success and building its reputation as the top-competitor.
Now, with over 30 years of experience at the top of the industry, Hakop Supikyan decided it is time to continue his legacy through his new company, Legacy Venues and Catering, with his sons – Hovik and Arthur Supikyan. With nearly 40 years of experience in the culinary and hospitality industry, Hakop leads Legacy Venues & Catering by ensuring expectations are met throughout all departments, and aligning them with his vision for the company.
Hakop joined the L.A. Banquets and Anoush Catering team in 1989 and served as one of the owners for over 20 Years. He provided the company with exquisite culinary experiences leading them into success and building its reputation as the top-competitor.
Hovik Supikyan – Vice President and Event Manager
With nearly 10 years of Customer Service Experience working in the event and banking industry, Hovik continues to excel in providing the best experience for guests and clients in all aspects at every event. His goal is to work with you and the staff in all departments as a team to execute a unique and memorable occasion. He aims to maintain an exceptional working environment for the Legacy team and vendors. Hovik further developed his skills in leadership by earning a Masters in Business Management and Leadership from Pepperdine University.
Arthur Supikyan – Executive Chef
Honoring the mission of the company to continue the Legacy, Chef Arthur Supikyan followed in his father’s footsteps, attended the Institute of Culinary Education and obtained a degree in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management. His eagerness to absorb from his father’s wisdom, allowed him to bring a modern twist to the traditional Mediterranean menu the company has specialized in for over 30 years.
Through team work, creativity, and communication, Arthur and his culinary team, work together to deliver a phenomenal culinary experience. Arthur leads the culinary team at the company to cater high-quality, new and tasteful food to all celebrations.
Konstanten Danielyan – Event Manager
Konstanten has been in the industry for nearly 20 years. He spent a large portion of his early career, capturing special moments as a videographer. Now, as the event manager at Legacy, Konstanten helps bring our clients’ visions to life by meeting and building relationships with them throughout their event planning process.
Konstanten is dedicated to ensuring that the company, and the team are at their highest potential and bringing their best foot forward. His welcoming and humorous personality is loved by his clients and team members.
Greg Grigoryan – Floor Manager
Greg has been a team member for nine years. He began as a waiter and quickly grew into the role of a floor captain due to his drive, hard work, and skill-set. Greg is responsible for executing a smooth and flawless event for you and your guests. He trains and motivates the service staff to provide excellent service and serves as a liaison between management, the culinary team, the wait staff, you and your event planner. As a result of his approachable and charming personality, Greg is thrilled to be a part of your special day.
